Dharmendra ״he-man״ Deol was born on December 8, 1935, in the Sahnewal Village, Ludhiana district, Punjab India. He had his acting premiere in 1960 when he played a lead role in the “Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere”. The first of Dharmendra’s two marriages was to Prakash Kaur in 1954, with whom he had four kids. Two of those children, Sunny and Bobby Deol, became successful Bollywood actors. His other two children, Vijeta and Ajeeta, did not pursue an acting career like their brothers.
Actress Hema Malini became his second wife in 1980, and they share two daughters. He remained faithful to both wives for his entire life and is often cited as one of the greatest stars of Bollywood history. His acting profession soared to extraordinary heights with over 200 films. He passed away in 2025, but several videos from the hospital have become viral since his passing.

Kewal Krishan was Dharmendra’s father (School Teacher) while his mother was Satwant Kaur (775373) and they both belonged to a traditional Punjabi Sikh family. He attended a local school in Punjab before winning a talent hunt contest which marked the beginning of his journey as a successful actor in Bollywood.
