AHMEDABAD:
Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited ATEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Total Gas Limited, on Monday announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding with automobile major, MG Motors India. As part of the MoU, ATEL will set up a CC2 60kW DC charger at MG Motors’ dealerships in India to bolster charging networks here.
The joint collaboration will entail development of charging solutions for electric vehicles (EVs) and value-added services for MG Motors’ EV customers.
The two companies also plan to launch a digital platform to facilitate a seamless customer experience, covering discovery, user authentication, charging, and billing settlement for EV charging.
Suresh P Mangalani, ED & CEO, ATGL, said, “Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited’s and MG Motor India’s partnership to develop charging infrastructure will play a crucial role in accelerating India’s energy transition.”
The collaboration will enhance customer experience with RFID solutions accessible to MG users at the strategic locations of ATEL’s public charging network, especially at places such as airports.
