NEW DELHI: Indian Indices on Wednesday registered losses after a six day rally on Stock exchanges. Sensex plummeted by 434 points to 72,623.09 from 73,057.40 whereas Nifty settled at 22,051.35 after declining 145.60 points. In early trades it touched an all time high of 22,249.40.
Earlier, Sensex started in green on Wednesday as it climbed around 50 points to 73,108 at BSE in early morning trade.Nifty as well rose by 53 points and registered a fresh new high of 22,249.40.
In early trading, JSW Steel surged over 2%, while Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Steel, and Bharti Airtel saw gains of over 1%.
